1. Scope
This policy explains how Modded Among Us Queue (MAUQ) processes information through its Discord bot, website, API, and Among Us verification service.
2. Information we process
The information depends on the features you use:
- Discord identifiers: user, server, channel, role, and message-related identifiers needed to run commands, queues, logging, permissions, and server settings.
- Queue and configuration data: queue membership and position, lobby codes, rules, companions, blacklist entries and reasons, reports, logging channels, role settings, and related timestamps.
- Verification data: Discord user and server IDs, Among Us friend code, player identifier (PUID), hashed PUID, HTTP and UDP IP addresses, platform information, verification method, verification timestamps, and the administrator who performed a manual verification.
- Temporary verification data: during a verification session, the verification service may briefly process a player name, platform account identifier, game version, language, and Among Us authentication traffic. Authentication credentials are used to complete verification and are not intentionally stored in the persistent verification database.
- Premium data: Discord user ID, subscription source, tier or entitlement status, selected premium emoji, and timestamps supplied by Discord or Patreon.
- API data: API account identifiers, credentials, permissions, creation times, and request information needed to authenticate and protect the API.
- Diagnostics: when an error occurs, MAUQ may store an error ID, command name, user/server/channel IDs, shard number, exception details, traceback, timestamps, and resolution information. Ordinary users see only a friendly error ID.
- Website and network data: hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, request headers, URLs, and similar connection data when you visit a MAUQ website or API.
3. How we use information
We use this information to provide queues and lobby codes, apply settings and access controls, verify accounts, prevent abuse, manage subscriptions, investigate reports, diagnose failures, secure the API, and maintain the service.
4. Legal reasons for processing
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the service you request, for legitimate interests such as security and abuse prevention, to comply with legal obligations, and with consent where consent is required. You may stop using optional features or withdraw consent, but some information is necessary for the requested feature to work.
5. Sharing and access
We do not sell personal information. Information may be available to:
- MAUQ administrators who need it to operate, secure, and support the service;
- Discord server administrators through configured logs and moderation or verification tools;
- service providers that host, deliver, secure, or monitor MAUQ;
- Discord, Patreon, Cloudflare, and Among Us services when their systems are needed for the feature you use; and
- authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
6. Storage and retention
MAUQ uses hosted databases and local service storage. Queue entries and lobby codes remain until removed, cleared, replaced, or otherwise no longer needed. Settings, rules, blacklist records, verification records, premium records, and security records may remain while they are needed to provide the feature, enforce restrictions, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Temporary verification sessions expire after a limited period.
Backups and diagnostic records may remain for a reasonable period after active records are deleted. We may keep a minimal record of a restriction or deletion request when needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can use /unverify in a direct message with the bot to remove verification from selected servers or permanently delete all verification records connected to your Discord user ID. Removing a personal blacklist, companion, rule, queue entry, or server setting through the relevant bot command also updates that feature's active data.
For access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request that is not available through a command, email [email protected]. Include your Discord user ID and enough information to verify that the request concerns your account. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for security, legal compliance, or the rights of others.
8. Security
We use access controls, authentication, encrypted HTTPS connections, and restricted administrative tools to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep API credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
9. International processing
MAUQ and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Those locations may have different data-protection laws. Where required, providers use legal safeguards for international transfers.
10. Children
MAUQ is intended for people who are old enough to use Discord in their country. We do not knowingly provide the service to anyone below that minimum age. Contact us if you believe a child below the applicable age has provided information to MAUQ.
11. Third-party policies
Connected services process information under their own policies. Relevant policies include Discord's Privacy Policy, Patreon's Privacy Policy, and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when MAUQ changes or when legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears above. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected] or raised in the MAUQ support server.
